Explore Oaklands Mansion on a self guided tour of this Nationally Registered historic site. A staff member will greet you, provide a brief history of the site and be available to answer any questions. Signage in each room explains how the space was used during different decades and how many of the individuals lived and worked here. The entire house is available for your tour, although the second floor is only accessible by climbing stairs. A second floor video is available in the audio visual room. Just ask your guide or the gift shop attendant to start it for you. Photographs are encouraged.
After visiting the mansion, be sure to see the grounds. Oaklands Mansion is nestled in Oaklands Park. A walking trail will lead you through the native tree arboretum and natural wetlands that includes Maney Spring, as well as heritage and native gardens.
