A wind-sketched ridge opens ahead, and the path threads villages, terraced fields, and forests that change with your altitude. On the Manaslu Circuit, mornings begin in humid subtropical air and end with thin, biting alpine wind on the Larkya La. The trail pushes through oak and rhododendron, past suspension bridges and millet fields, and finally into the high, open meadows above 4,000 m where Manaslu’s north face commands the skyline.
