The UTV kicks up a scatter of needles as it powers out of the staging area — spruce and hemlock close in on either side, the air cool and lightly scented of salt from nearby inlets. Drives thread through old-growth pockets and climb toward viewpoints where George Inlet stretches like a carved seam into the coast; every turn reveals steep, mossy banks and glassy pools that dare you to stop and listen.
