Set in Salem, Massachusetts, the heart of America’s witchcraft lore, Witch Pix offers a one-of-a-kind photo adventure that transforms visitors into flying witches. The Magick Broom experience is a creative departure from traditional outdoor pursuits, blending iconic Salem mystique with high-tech green screen photography. Here, you don the classic witch’s dress, cape, and hat, then pose on a broomstick rig that simulates flight against custom fantasy backdrops. It’s equal parts performance and photography, designed to capture dramatic, themed portraits and animated gifs that make your social media presence truly spellbinding.
Salem’s deep historical association with witch trials creates a fitting backdrop for Witch Pix’s studio. Instead of haunted forest hikes or coastal paddles, you step into a living photo set where the town’s folklore meets modern digital artistry. The green screen technology allows guests to choose from distinct galleries — including the Celestial Moon Gallery, featuring detailed lunar surfaces and moody Halloween themes; the Dark Side Gallery, with stormy skies and ominous cemeteries; and Magick Avenue, a pastel-toned fantasy sky that pays tribute to the classic Salem vibe.
Beyond the novelty, Witch Pix excels in delivering a seamless visitor experience. Sessions last about 30 minutes, featuring a stylist fitting guests with costumes and props, followed by guided posing from a dedicated photographer. Up to 25 high-resolution images are captured and processed on the spot, with same-day digital delivery. For those who want to take the magic home, framed prints with Salem-themed matting are available.
Witch Pix’s Magick Broom session adds a unique, immersive layer to Salem’s outdoor and cultural offerings. It’s an imaginative alternative for anyone seeking creative expression tied to local heritage without venturing on a traditional outdoor trail. Especially during the Halloween season, this experience feels like stepping into your own supernatural story, immortalized in striking photos that marry history, fantasy, and modern tech.
