No Experience Required

The sun slides across limestone walls as you step out of a minibus and feel the cool of a mountain spring on your face — this is southern Turkey where the Taurus Mountains drop sharply into the Mediterranean. Over eight days based in the port town of Kas you move between gorge corridors, cedar forests and turquoise bays: Saklikent’s icy river mouth, the plunging narrows of Kibris Canyon, the sunken harbour of Kekova and the Roman sands of Patara.
