True Sailing is a Sag Harbor, New York-based provider of private sailing charters and personalized lessons. The company offers small-group, private cruises and hands-on instruction designed to fit different skill levels and outing preferences. Trips accommodate up to six people, with durations ranging from two to eight hours to suit short escapes or extended day sails.
True Sailing operates three main experiences: the Hamptons Classic Cruise, the Hummingbird Charter, and Private Sailing Lessons. Both cruise experiences are private charters for up to six guests and offer flexible durations of two to eight hours. Guests are asked to bring a valid photo ID for cruise bookings. Private Sailing Lessons are tailored to individual needs and skill levels; participants are encouraged to bring lunch for full-day sessions.
The business focuses on private, small-group outings in the Sag Harbor and greater Hamptons waters. Booking options provide clear capacity limits and defined trip lengths to help guests plan. The straightforward requirements — including the photo ID request for charters and the bring-your-own-lunch guideline for lessons — help set expectations before departure.
All communications describe trip options, durations, and participant requirements in plain terms so prospective guests can compare offerings and make informed decisions. True Sailing’s Sag Harbor location places it within direct access to classic Hamptons waterways and coastal scenery, making it a practical choice for private sailing and instruction in the area.
