You arrive to a blanket spread across grass that smells faintly of cut hay and river spray, sunlight threading through maples while the city’s distant clatter softens to a hum. Glam Picnics transforms a public park into a private table: low-slung cushions, tasteful décor, and a feast that reads like a restaurant menu laid out in the open air.

Yes — communicate allergies and preferences when booking so the team can customize the menu and provide suitable alternatives.
Small private picnics rarely need permits, but larger groups or setups in certain parks may require one; check with the operator and local park rules ahead of time.
Full refunds are available if you cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled start; weather-related cancellations are permitted under the provider’s policy.
Pittsburgh’s parks sit on land reshaped by its steel-era economy and earlier river-based trade; many green spaces are former industrial sites that were reclaimed and redesigned for public use.
Respect park rules and pack out any non-organic waste; small events are low-impact but larger setups should minimize single-use plastics and follow leave-no-trace principles.
Glam-picnics operates guided outdoor trips and adventures with an emphasis on safety, stewardship, and memorable experiences.
