Amsterdam’s canals were built in the 17th century as part of the city’s surge as a global trading hub, with many waterways dating back to that era.
Waterway preservation is vital there, with ongoing efforts to maintain canal cleanliness and ecological health for future generations.
Layering helps stay comfortable during varying temperatures aboard the boat.
