Enjoy a relaxing paddle thru Downtown Milwaukee. Our Lunchtime Tours are a nice way to experience the sport of kayaking in a small group setting lead by a guide from MKC. We will outfit you with the proper kayak, life jacket and paddle. We will review the river map and be sure you are comfortable on-land before venturing out. We will decide as a group which river(s) we would like to paddle and then return back to our dock around 1pm.
We can make stops along the way if we'd like including Twisted Fisherman or MOTOR on the Menomonee River, Third Ward, Schlitz Park or Lakefront Brewery on the Milwaukee... we'll see where our adventure takes us!
These paddles are a great way to learn and experience the sport of kayaking while enjoying time on our rivers in a nice, safe and casual atmosphere.
While paddling, we'll keep an eye out for different sites along the way including the Historic Third Ward buildings, downtown Milwaukee Riverwalk art sculptures, the Riverside Theater and Dream with the Fishes for Aurora, Pere Marquette Park, the Milwaukee County Historical Society, Fiserv Forum and Schlitz Park. We may paddle up the Menomonee River to see the the Harley-Davidson Museum or check out the Hoan Bridge in the harbor. Either way, we'll get to see many sites from the river as we paddle through the city.
