This course covers the State required classroom course work, written test and shooting proficiency test required to obtain a State of Texas issued License to Carry permit.
Shooting proficiency test: Average 1 hour 20 rounds at 3 yards, 20 rounds at 7 yards and 10 rounds at 15 yards.
In this course, we go over the laws surrounding your ability to carry on your person as well as a 50 round shooting proficiency.
Students must bring a cased, unloaded firearm and 50 rounds of ammunition to complete the shooting qualification.
Wear closed-toe shoes and avoid low-cut shirts for safety and comfort during the shooting portion.
Bring pen and paper to take notes during the 4 to 6 hours of state-required legal instruction.
Vending machines are available, but bringing your own water can keep you comfortable during the multi-hour course.
