The Lower Kern Full-Day Class II-III river trip is a mellow, easy-going trip, through a variety of terrain ranging from granite boulder slabs to sections thick with trees overhanging the river. This is the perfect choice for those seeking a lot of fun with a reduced "fear" factor. This trip includes one of our great lunches partway through the day. The trip is approximately 8 river miles.

Months of operation: May - September • Trip Time: 9:00 am daily. • Minimums: Age: 8 Weight: 50 lbs (We may weigh small children) • Maximum Weight: 300 lbs • Limitations: All trips require a minimum number of 4 guests. If participant numbers are not met we will notify you and provide various options for your trip to go.

All of our trips may be adjusted based on water levels and/or other conditions.


What to Bring

• We suggest you arrive at the store 30 minutes prior to the trip. Unless you have a group over 20 or are getting wetsuits, then please arrive 45 minutes to 1 hour prior. • Please wear shoes that will stay on your feet in the water. No flip-flops or bare-feet. You must wear tennis shoes, water shoes, or sandals that have a heel strap. • Our trips leave on schedule. • Price does not include gratuity, so if you like the ride...it's ok to tip your guide! Please bring cash for Tips. Last-minute items in our retail store can be paid by cash, credit or debit card.
