Explore the ins and outs of cooking with beautiful vegetables to create a variety of next-level dishes that you’ll want to recreate again and again.

What you’ll do:

  • Master the 4 key taste sensations – salty, sour, sweet and hot – then put your know-how to the test by making a Thai-style crunchy sweet & sour salad.
  • Discover how to deepen flavour with a series of umami boosters – from miso and soy sauce to porcini mushrooms and beyond.
  • Get your char on: learn how charring can sweeten and deepen flavour.
  • Rustle up our best-ever chickpea & cauliflower curry, topped with a spicy nut oil.
  • Get creative and make your own veg-based sauce that’s perfect for pasta, using your favourite veg!
  • Watch our chefs prepare spinach pasta dough, so you can enjoy freshly made pasta that really makes your sauce sing.
  • Take a seat at our chef’s table to tuck into your epic veggie feast.

What you’ll eat & drink:

  • Thai-style crunchy sweet & sour salad
  • Handmade spinach pici pasta with the veggie sauce you whipped up earlier
  • Fragrant chickpea & cauliflower curry topped with a spicy cashew oil
  • A complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival (or a soft drink, if you prefer)
  • Water is provided throughout and you’re welcome to purchase wine, beer, spirits & mixers, cocktails and softs from our drinks menu.

What to expect:

  • Easy-to-follow demos, led by our expert teaching chef
  • Tuck into your plant-based feast at our chef's table (or pack a box to take home, if you prefer)
  • A digital recipe pack with everything you need to recreate the magic at home
  • All ingredients, equipment and aprons will be provided
  • You'll work at your own station to recreate the dishes demonstrated by your teaching chef

  • The duration of the class includes teaching demos and hands-on cooking, as well as time to tuck into delicious dishes at our chef’s table.
  • Only those who are actively taking part in a class are permitted at the Cookery School. Sadly, we are unable to accommodate spectators or provide a waiting area for friends and family.
