Experience the charm of Louisville, a unique train car cabin nestled by Wolfe Creek. Enjoy modern comforts like a kitchenette and air conditioning, alongside outdoor amenities such as a deck, picnic area, and nature trails. Perfect for families seeking adventure and connection while enjoying their own private space.
Secluded (non-primitive) cabins have indoor kitchens, bathrooms, air conditioning, and all necessary linens. Additionally, each has a charcoal grill, fire ring, picnic table and hammock.
Louisville (one half of the L & N train car) is located near Katie’s Kaboose and the School House Inn. This train car opened to guests for rental in 2020 and sits along Wolfe Creek. It has a kitchenette that includes a 2 burner stove top, 3/4 fridge, microwave and coffee pot. (There is not a conventional oven.) Linens and basic cooking/eating utensils are provided. Sleeping arrangements are a queen size bed and a set of bunk beds. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet (no bathtub). All of our cabins (including rustic) have air conditioning units. Outdoor amenities include a deck, picnic table, charcoal grill, fire ring, view of Wolfe Creek and access to our nature trail around the property. Louisville shares a large lawn equipped with chairs, hammocks and picnic tables with the Schoolhouse Inn making it ideal for several families wanting to be together (but in their own rooms) or to meet new friends!
