About

Our Pony Rides are an excellent way to safely introduce younger riders to horses and horseback riding. An experienced guide will lead the horse on an individual 20 minute trail ride.

You will be allowed to walk on foot next to your child (called side walking). The pace of the trail ride will be dictated by the confidence level of your child therefore ride times are approximate.

Riding Requirements

  • For riders ages 3 to 5 years old.
  • All riders must wear helmets, which are provided at no additional cost.
  • If they would like to bring their own helmet (such as a bike helmet), that is acceptable.
  • We recommend wearing long pants and closed toe shoes.

Adventure Tips

Wear Protective Clothing

Long pants and closed-toe shoes help protect little legs and feet during the ride.

Arrive Early for Orientation

Allow time to get fitted with helmets and meet the ponies before your ride starts.

Side Walking Encouraged

Parents can walk alongside their child for extra comfort and safety on the trail.

Hydrate Before Your Visit

Bring water especially during warmer months to keep little riders comfortable.
