Who is this course for?
This course if for the experienced shooters who is familiar with using a Kestrel and is ready to start shooting at different distances out to 1 mile.
Objective
You will be taught how to range unknown distances on different targets and be able to shoot out to 1 mile if equipment permits.
Outline
- Proper setup behind the rifle.
- How to zero and test your rifle for proper use.
- Use additional long-range equipment like a Kestrel Wind Meter and Labradar for ballistics.
Equipment List (all available to rent)
Please wear long pants and close-toed shoes.
- Hearing protection.
- Eye protection.
- Rifle that that has been properly set up with ammunition.
- All ballistics for that rifle.
- Factory ammunition that is Match grade. Reloaded ammunition will need to pass inspection.
- Shooting mat is recommended for laying on the ground.
