Description

London Big Day Out – Full Day London Tour: 9.00am – 4.00pm.

The London Sightseeing Tour: lots of stops, lots of photo opps.

London: one of the great world cities, jam-packed with amazing buildings and iconic landmarks – and you’re in London to see them all. A packed – but unrushed – full day tour covering London Highlights. This tour can be customized to mix & match with other tour themes. We also have the choice to include elements of Rock’n Roll, Horror, Kings & Queens, Dickens & Shakespeare and even Harry Potter or Sherlock. OR you can leave all of the planning to me. Graham can also include guided highlights of the British Museum, the National Gallery or St Paul’s Cathedral. OR you can leave all of the planning to me. We make decisions on the day as we tour.

Depending on time and access: Changing of the Guard Ceremony + a fantastic street food market, ancient Churches, a medieval banqueting hall and Roman remains.

This is not a ‘drive-by’ tour. We make a lot of stops and do some walking: to look at, photo and talk about London’s great landmarks. Everywhere we go is in the open, or if inside is free of charge. London is BIG and although we can’t possibly do ‘everything’ in one day, we’ll select the best of London for you to enjoy. Along the way we’ll discover London’s 2000 year heritage, and explore some places that perhaps you weren’t expecting.

Note: Tour visits but does not go inside Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s Cathedral or Tower of London. These are big, paid for attractions. However, Graham is an accredited St. Paul’s Cathedral guide and this attraction can be included if you’d like to – St. Paul’s has an admission charge which can be paid on entry. Let Graham know in advance or on the day.

CHANGING THE GUARD AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE: 10.45am - 11.30am

Graham can walk you through the Ceremony during any of his Highlights Tours. April-June: Daily. July-March: Sun, Mon, Wed, Fri (weather permitting). This colourful, on-the-move spectacle encompasses Marching Bands and Guards, tradition and pageant. Graham guides you through its key moments and highlights. If you would like this included within your tour please tell Graham.
