On the Live Bee Show you will discover the fascinating world of Honey Bees and Australian Native Bees. An experienced guide will share with you the importance of bees in nature and their special communication methods used to locate pollen. Learn about the different roles bees hold in the colony and see a frame filled with honey as the Beekeeper opens a living Honey Beehive. Take a close look at worker and drone bees inside glass wall hives. You will sample different honey flavours in the tasting and learn about hive-related products.
A child ticket covers visitors from 4 years through to 16 years. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult on tours and rides, children aged 3 years and under are free of charge. A family ticket includes 2 adults and 3 children. A senior ticket is available to any visitor with a valid Seniors Card. The Live Bee Show is fully accessible for all abilities.
