About This Adventure

Embark on a captivating 4-hour private tour through Lisbon's stunning hills, where you'll explore iconic landmarks like the Sé Cathedral and Jerónimos Monastery. Enjoy breathtaking views from Senhora do Monte, savor delicious custard tarts, and experience the city's rich history, all while customizing your journey with a friendly guide.

Drive down the hills and see some incredible monuments like the S. Vicente de Fora Church and the National Pantheon!

Suggested Itinerary:

  • Duration: Approx. 4 hours
  • Pick up at requested hotel/apartment/cruise at 09:00 or 14:00
  • Drive around the central part of the city (Rossio) and go up the main avenue (Avenida da Liberdade) to reach the top of Park Edward VII, where you can admire a beautiful view over the central part of Lisbon)
  • Stop at Sé (Lisbon Cathedral), the oldest church in Lisbon (Free admission)
  • Drive to one of the highest viewpoints of the city (Senhora do Monte) where you will have almost a 360º view over the city, the bridge and the river
  • Drive down the hills and see some incredible monuments like the S. Vicente de Fora Church and the National Pantheon.
  • Stop at S. Pedro de Alcântara viewpoint and the S. Roque Church, both in Bairro Alto
  • Drive to Belém, taking the road along the river
  • Visit to the Jerónimos Monastery
  • Taste the famous custard tarts from Lisbon (Pastéis de Belém) at the original factory
  • Stop at the Tower of Belém (optional visit)
  • Stop at the Discoveries Monument (Padrão dos Descobrimentos)
  • Drop off at the starting point or another place that is convenient for you

Note that:

  • Our itinerary is always flexible, so if you want to cut it short or add different stops or places to visit you can do that by just telling the driver (that's why private tours are a lot more fun!)
  • If you don't want to visit the monuments inside, we can add other places like viewpoints or some secret spots that only the locals know about to fill in the time
  • Our tours can be done in English, Portuguese, Spanish or French (subject to availability)
  • You should wear comfortable clothing and shoes as there are some parts of the tour where we have to walk to reach certain places
