Seattle Sailing Club's LGBTQ+ Program's mission is to provide a safe and welcoming place for our LGBTQ+ members and allies to fulfill their sailing goals and enjoy socializing with a supportive, like-minded community, as well as promote advocacy and awareness on the water. We have seen how our Women's Program has succeeded in bringing women together, fostering lifelong friendships, and providing valuable educational opportunities, and we hope to create a similar model for the LGBTQ+ community.
For all club members and spouses/partners that identify as or are supportive towards LGBTQ+. Also for CYC members. Certain events will be open to non-members as well.

Seattle’s weather can change quickly; layering is key to stay comfortable on and off the water.
Plan to arrive 15 minutes early for pre-sail safety briefings and introductions to the crew.
If you’re prone to seasickness, consider taking preventive medication or bringing ginger candies.
Avoid disposing of trash in the water and use eco-friendly sunscreen to protect marine life.
