Leeuwarden is the capital of Friesland with medieval canals and the leaning Oldehove tower; its trading past and peat‑land geography shaped the compact street grid you’ll explore.
The historic center is sensitive—stay on public paths, avoid graffiti or trespass, carry out litter, and support small local businesses to keep tourism sustainable.
City Game operates guided outdoor trips and adventures with an emphasis on safety, stewardship, and memorable experiences.
