The course typically takes 3.5–5 days depending on prior experience and pacing—you’ll complete knowledge development, confined-water sessions, and four open-water dives.
Minimum certification age is 10; the course is not recommended for people with significant heart or spinal problems or for pregnant travelers—consult your doctor if unsure.
Basic scuba equipment (BCD, regulator, tank, weights) is included; students often bring personal masks and wetsuits for comfort.
The PADI fee for the manual and certification (about €70) is not included; you can also complete the theory online via PADI eLearning before arrival to shorten on-site time.
