Adventure Tips

Arrive with layered clothing

Waterfront winds can shift quickly; dress in layers to stay comfortable both on and off the water.

Bring sunscreen and sunglasses

Reflections off the water intensify UV exposure—sunscreen and polarized sunglasses protect your skin and eyes.

Hydrate before and during sessions

Even on cooler days, physical activity on the water can dehydrate; carry water and drink regularly.

Familiarize yourself with basic knots

Learning a few sailing knots ahead of the course can enhance your hands-on experience during training sessions.
