Nine week Horseback Riding and Horsemanship Program!

Learn and practice riding

About

Students learn and practice safely riding and handling horses. Gain valuable and interesting horsemanship wisdom. Each weekly session of the multiple-week course is approximately 2-hours. Experience and learn what it takes to be a cowgirl at Cornerstone Ranch!

What's Included

8-10 week, two-hour session covering horseback riding and horsemanship skills. Final, 9th week consists of a horse-show and demonstration of new skills which parents are invited and encouraged to attend.

  • Ground lesson. Meet and understand the mannerisms and characteristics of horses.
  • Riding Lesson. Learn about the saddles and bridles used and how to saddle a horse, then take a riding lesson to learn essential basics while riding a horse.
  • Horse Show. Celebrate and demonstrate your newly acquired skills and new friends (horse & human) with a fun horse show as a grand finale to the 9-week program.
