An Droichead offer an extensive Irish Language Programme with a range of levels to suit all abilities.

Tá an chúrsa seo ina cháilíocht AS Leibhéal creidiúnaithe ag CCEA sa Ghaeilge. Is cúrsa bliana é a thosaíonn i Meán Fómhair le scrúduithe formálta ag socraithe do Bhealtaine/Meitheamh. Druidfidh clárú don chúrsa seo go hoifigiúil Deireadh Fómhair go dtí an chéad bliain acadúil eile. Leanfaidh an chúrsa sonraíocht CCEA Modern Languages – AS Irish. Tá an chúrsa seo dírithe ar fhoghlaimeoirí fásta ach glacfar le hiarratais ó iardhaltaí Ghaelscoile agus mic léinn Bliain 11 a rinne staidéar ar an Ghaeilge i mbliain 8-10 ar scoil. Caithfear duine fásta a bheith in éineacht le rannpháirtithe ranga faoi 16. Caithfear bheith i láthair do na scrúduithe ar dátaí agus amanna leagtha amach ag CCEA.

This course is a CCEA accredited AS qualification in Irish. It is a one year course commencing in September with formal examinations taking place in May/June. Registration for this course will close officially in October until the following academic year. This course will follow CCEA Modern languages – AS Irish specification. This course is designed for adult learners however applications from past pupils of Irish primary schools medium schools and Year 13 students that have achieved the GCSE Irish qualification reaching grade A-C may be considered. Class participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Examinations must be attended on dates and times set by CCEA.
