Stick the axe! It takes about 5 minutes to get each person comfortable with sticking and aiming the axe, and going through a short safety briefing. The axe is a 14" hatchet designed specifically for throwing. If you have never thrown and axe, you will get a tutorial by an Axe Master on how to properly throw your axe.
All participants must sign a waiver. Participants under the age of 18 require the signature of a parent or legal guardian.
Please wear closed toe shoes
Ensure you wear sturdy, closed-toe footwear to protect your feet around the throwing lanes.
Arriving 10 minutes before your session allows time to review safety instructions with the Axe Master.
Concentrate on your throwing form rather than force to improve accuracy and reduce injury risk.
Stay hydrated as standing and engaging your muscles during the session can be surprisingly taxing.
