About

Being a certified guide has allowed me to have in depth knowledge about Portugal. My curiosity has led me to the information you can't find on guided books, that I will share with you to bring the palace back to life!

After a short drive from Lisbon, we will walk up-hill until this breath-taking gem of Sintra, enjoying the Palace's wall walks and terraces that will take you back to your childhood's imaginary. Strolling back down, we will get away from the crowds rushing to the palace admiring the peaceful paths through the seamlessly designed romantic park and its beautiful ponds.

The visit to Sintra would not be completed without seeing the historical center and trying local delicacies: Travesseiros & Queijadas. Then, we will begin the scenic part of our tour, driving through the Natural Park towards the coast for a photo stop at Cabo da Roca. Continuing our drive marveling the views, stop for light lunch at a local restaurant with an ocean view and admiring the Portuguese Sunny Coast until Lisbon.

*** Pena Palace is one of the most visited Palaces in the country, it is often extremely crowded, compromising the quality of the guided visit to its rooms and the timings of the rest of the tour. Therefore, this tour ONLY includes its terraces and gardens, being the entire visit conducted on the outside. (In low season this policy may not apply, since there are less people, please send me a message)***
