Maremma Wines and Landscapes is a private wine tasting shore excursion.This wine tasting shore excursion is for those who arrive in Civitavecchia Port, and are looking for the perfect get-away that would include good food, good wine and a little Italian wander in the Tuscany Maremma, for a day.

Your first stop will be Scansano! World famous for the prime grape varieties and, of course, the Wine. It is one of the incredibly well preserved villages, this area is so famous for. So much history around this beautiful Medieval fortress. But let’s talk about the wine! Scansano is World producer of Morellino di Scansano Wine, made with a local variety of Sangiovese grapes.

You can’t visit the Maremma without having a Wine tasting. In fact, the Highlight of the day will be a private, Morellino Wine tasting tour, in one of the best local Wineries. With a tour of the vineyards, listen to incredible explanations on the art of wine making, visit the cellars and finally, taste different varieties of Wines. Why not enjoy a delicious meal in one of the local restaurants!

Last but not least, you will visit Capalbio! Known as “Little Athens”, for it’s artistic and historical impact in Renaissance times.

After this private tour, you driver will escort you on a pleasant ride back to Civitavecchia Port, in perfect time to board your ship.
