DAY 1/ MONDAY ARRIVAL HOBART – CITY TOUR Arrive in Tasmania’s capital city, Hobart no later than 12.00 pm and transfer to your accommodation. At 2 pm, be met by your local tour guide and enjoy a 3-hour city tour around the bustling waterfront, Salamanca, Battery Point and an ascend to kunanyi/Mount Wellington before returning to your waterfront hotel.

DAY 2/ TUESAY HISTORY AND GEOLOGY - FREYCINET PENINSULA The Tasman Peninsula and Port Arthur Historic Site are some of Tasmania’s most visited destinations. Set in tranquil gardens, Tasmania’s famous convict settlement site harbours a dark history which our experienced guide will bring to life. As you stroll amongst the now peaceful buildings, envisage the harsh life that was endured by the hapless convicts. View the famous geological features of the peninsula as you explore the rugged coastline. In the afternoon, enjoy a drive along Tasmania’s East Coast to the Freycinet Peninsula, with its exceptional beauty, pristine white sandy beaches, and granite coastline. Explore the scenic grandeur of the Freycinet National Park.

DAY 3/ WEDNESDAY WINEGLASS BAY CRUISE - FREYCINET NATIONAL PARK This morning, embark the award-wining Wineglass Bay Cruise from the jetty of your accommodation. Step up into the captain’s cabin an enjoy 4,5 hours or great views, fantastic food and drinks in the Sky-Lounge. Upon disembarking, walk the track up to the world-famous Wineglass Bay lookout for some stunning photo opportunities, with views across the Freycinet Peninsula. DAY 4/ THURSDAY Continue your journey towards the UNESCO world heritage listed Cradle Mountain National Park. Travel through lush rolling farm pastures before reaching the alpine bush. At night, meet our iconic mascot, the Tasmanian Devil, with the possibility to get close and observe these quirky animals in a natural habitat during a Sunset Experience. DAY 5/ FRIDAY This morning’s activity is a bushwalk in the National Park on the Dove Lake Circuit (2.5 hrs), where you immerse yourself in the beauty of this majestic setting. (Weather permitting) Learn about native flora and fauna along the way, with highlights including the ballroom forest and lakeside beaches. A variety of other walks are available to suit the weather and group. Your guide will share with you an insight into the history, flora and fauna of the region. Walks are available to suit the group and weather. After lunch travel to Launceston and explore the scenic Cataract Gorge, where the South Esk River forces its way through sheer rocky cliffs. Evoke memories of the genteel Victorian era as you stroll in the landscaped gardens. The tour ends at approximately 4.30 pm at the Launceston transit centre or at the airport.
