This tour is a perfect combination of art and wine because it gives you the chance in a single day to admire the famous sculputure of David (original in the Accademia Museum) and to visit the famous Chianti region with time also to see San Gimignano (the famous medieval city with watch towers) You will also taste the world champion ice cream.
Kind note: the Academy's tickets to see the David are not included on this tour and must be purchased by you in advance. Depending on availability and the time you choose (morning or afternoon) visit before or after the David. We advise you to book in the morning between 9.30 and 10:30 or in the afternoon between 4 or 5 pm.
San Gimignano Next is the town of San Gimignano, also known for its beautifully preserved medieval towers . 14 left out of 72 initially built in the 13th century.
We will walk you to the square of the well, the centre of the town for you to enjoy All the fine shops which also sell the local smooth, dry white wine called Vernaccia, and most of all the best ice cream in the world.
