The walking tour (all outdoors) passes Shakespeare’s Birthplace, New Place, Hall’s Croft, Harvard House, a range of architectural gems, the Guild Chapel, Shakespeare’s Schoolroom and Guildhall, River Avon and Holy Trinity Church. Hear fascinating stories of fire, flood, plague, old fashioned sayings, medieval medical cures and history, wrapped up in a little Shakespeare.

The guides have many years guiding experience, with backgrounds in management, education and tourism. Some are Blue Badge trained, some are Guide Friday trained and others trained by Stratford Town Walk. Most importantly, the guides provide interesting, entertaining tours with an emphasis on quality of service and high customer satisfaction.
The Town Walk goes ahead whatever the weather, so please dress accordingly. The walk is classed as ‘easy going’. Walking boots/shoes are not necessary, but comfortable footwear is advisable.
