This registration is for the LINDEN GUN RANGE location (15 MIN EAST OF STOCKTON) Effective January 1st, 2024 ALL Issuing Agencies will require the Initial Course to be 16 hours and Renewals will be an 8 Hour Course.

Note: MOST students should receive pre-approval from their Issuing Agency (IA) prior to taking this course. Confirm with your IA. (Some IA ie; City of Ripon and Calaveras County Residents recommend taking the course 1st then submitting your application). Each applicant, should consult with their Issuing Agency directly or their website.

Registation Instructions

  1. Legal name to appear on the certificate
  2. MAKE /Model/Caliber/ Serial # of each firearm you will qualify with. Firearms MUST be registered in your name only.
  3. Issuing Agency of YOUR permit!

WHAT TO BRING:

Each Day is class and range

  • Note taking materials
  • Government issued ID
  • Your primary concealed carry method....IF YOU HAVE ONE!
  • Ammo - 16 Hour Class - Minimum 200 rounds for your primary handgun
  • Plus 36 rounds (50 for Sacramento) for each additional handgun, max 3*** for the QUAL(s)
  • Recommended Magazine Pouch and/or Speed Loader Pouch. Revolvers MUST have at least ONE Speedloader
  • Hat
  • Hearing Protection (Electronic is best- Do Not Recommend disposable foam plugs or ear muffs)
  • Eye protection (Sunglasses are fine)
  • Proper Fitting BELT and Outside the waistband Holster that fits the firearm, covering the trigger guard.
    *WE DO NOT allow the Blackhawk Serpa style holster-(See RESOURCES page for Equipment Video)
  • Food and water
  • Folding chair
  • Sunscreen/Rain gear- We train regardless of weather!
  • Great Attitude

Adventure Tips

Arrive Early for Check-In

Get to Linden Range at least 15 minutes early to complete paperwork and safety briefings without rushing.

Wear Appropriate Clothing

Bring weather-appropriate attire and closed-toe shoes suited for outdoor shooting.

Bring Your Own Gear

If you have your own firearm and holster, bring them; otherwise, rental equipment is available.

Stay Hydrated

Drink plenty of water, especially if the weather is warm or the course runs long.
