About This Adventure
Embark on a scenic 90-minute journey to Greenfield, surrounded by the vibrant colors of the Southern Adirondacks. Choose from various seating options, including a vintage Pullman car or a private caboose, and enjoy breathtaking views of marshes and wildlife. This unique experience promises unforgettable moments for everyone!
Join us for a 90 min trip to Greenfield and back! Enjoy then scenic views of the Southern Adirondacks as the leaves change colors. We pass marshes and swamps with beautiful views and wildlife. Don't forget your binoculars.
Guests have the option to choose: FIRST CLASS - table seating with 4 at a table, climate controlled car and includes a glass bottle of Saratoga Water. COACH - standard Amtrak style coach seating, great for families. Seats face each other in 4 packs or 2 packs school bus style. OPEN AIR - up close and directly behind the locomotive, our open air car is partially covered with picnic table seating.
Spirit of the Glen -enjoy more private space with this open air car and caboose with capacity for groups up to 30 people!
VINTAGE 1916 PULLMAN - Want a unique experience? Up to 8 seats are available in our rare Pullman observation car! This is also available for private parties up to 8 people! This car is on the rear of the train and has a view of the tracks directly from the end of the train!
PRIVATE CABOOSE Book this private vintage caboose for up to 15 people! Add an additional open air car for more capacity! This car is usually directly behind the locomotive and has direct access to the open air car.
