Our tour will start with a visit of Pyrgos Kallistis or simple Pyrgos which is one of the medieval villages of Santorini. Pyrgos is built amphitheatrically around a hill that offers magnificent views all over the island. On the top of the village there are ruins of a Venetian castle with amazing panoramas!
We continue our visit to the monastery of Prophet Elias, which is situated at the highest point of the island and offers unforgettable views. Next stop is at a local winery, where you will be welcomed by an oenologist specialist and you will taste different santorinian wines. After that, we drive south towards the village of Perissa with the black sandy beach, where we will enjoy some free time for swimming (weather permitted) lunch or coffee.
Next we proceed north with a short stop at Fira, the capital of Santorini, and then we visit Firostefani. At these two villages the houses are built on the caldera, in the volcanic ash and are characterized by their narrow, paved paths. Our last stop will be in Oia village. It is one of the most photographed and iconic places in Greece with a beauty that has inspired artists and poets. Every visitor who has attended a sunset in Oia says that it is truly magical!
