About

  • The 9:30am Rock Creek Lake Trail Ride takes guests around Rock Creek Lake with panoramic views of the lake and the magnificent peaks of Rock Creek Canyon.
  • The 2pm Panorama Ride goes up the trail towards Mono Pass with fantastic views of Mt. Morgan and Bear Creek Spire.
  • A great horseback adventure for 1st time riders and families with children!

What to Bring

  • Be sure to wear a long sleeved shirt and a hat.
  • Remember that the sun is strong and the breeze can be chilly at high altitudes.
  • Sun glasses, sturdy shoes or boots and a jacket are recommended. (Your jacket can be tied on the back of your saddle).
  • Bring a bottle of water with you.
  • We will furnish a small horn-bag for your camera or small items. Be sure that your "carry-on" gear (camera, snacks, water) weigh no more than 3 pounds.
  • NO backpacks, camelbacks or fanny-packs can be worn.

NOTICE

  • Riders cannot weigh over 240 pounds
  • Riders over 200 pounds or who are very heavy for their height need to be approved by the pack station, before they may sign up for a trip.
  • All riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Minimum age is 6 years old.
  • All Children 13 years of age or younger MUST wear a riding helmet.

Wear sturdy closed-toe shoes
