Her Majesty invites you to experience the fantasy of the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire – 35 acres of jousting knights and royal delights await as hundreds of colorfully costumed characters breathe mirth and merriment into a 16th-century English village.
This popular event, which draws all ages – from children to young men and women to grandparents – many of them dressing in costume to add to the festive atmosphere. The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire held annually at Mount Hope Mansion began as a one-weekend jousting event and is now held on 11 weekends each fall at this beautiful Lancaster County estate.
The Faire’s Swashbuckler Brewing Co., Mount Hope Winery, Lancaster County Cider and Spirits Distilling Co. serve their craft beverages throughout the festival for guests to enjoy with delicious foods from the Royal Kitchens. In keeping with the authenticity of the faire, a popular item is the turkey leg – so in demand that 35,000 are sold each year. Scores of Renaissance craftsmen line the streets ready to barter their wares.

There is no charge to park your car at the Wyoming Valley Mall, Wilkes-Barre Township, or the Green Ridge Plaza, Scranton. Pickup at the Wyoming Valley Mall is in the area of the Ken Pollock Service Center, site of the former Sears service center. Passengers boarding at Green Ridge Plaza should park at the end of the shopping center near Planet Fitness but as far from the door as possible.

The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire is held annually on the grounds of Mount Hope Estate and has become one of the state’s most popular festivals. The faire features themed weekends. We’ll be visiting during Halloween Days & Spooky Knights II which includes these popular events: adult costume contest, Nipperkin’s costume exhibition and treasure hunt, Royal Hound costume contest, and trick-or-treating in the shire.
You are on your own to purchase meals at the faire. There is a wide variety of food options.
If you require special assistance getting on or off the bus, or if you are bringing an ADA-approved mobility device, please provide a description in the Comments section when making your reservation. Non-approved ADA devices will not be allowed to be stored on or beneath the bus.

All sales are final. Refunds will not be issued for this tour. Deposits on overnight and multi-day tours are not refundable as stated above. Therefore, we recommend trip cancellation insurance. If it becomes necessary for Martz Bus to cancel a tour, the full price will be refunded. You have the option of receiving a refund in the form of a gift certificate that may be redeemed for a future Martz Tour.
