Our professional nature guide will shuttle you by van to the highlands of the Waianae Mountain. Unwind as we head to the cool forested ridge of Palehua at 2,400ft elevation. Hawaii is home to a variety of plants and trees, some of which, are found nowhere else in the world. Our narrated 1.5-mile round-trip nature hike takes you thru an active restoration site along a privately-owned trail to discover several endemic species of plants and spectacular views that are rare to even those who live here. At the end of the hike, guests are rewarded with a spectacular view of Oahu’s leeward coast and Nanakuli Valley. Take in the incredible views of the setting sun from this mountain top perch. Ideal for guests staying at Koolina as this property is a short drive located just above west Oahu hotels.
