Enhance your First Aid and CPR skills, learn effective teaching methodologies, and gain valuable insights into course implementation. Description:

The NAUI Powered by DAN First Aid Leadership Workshop (FAIW) is for any Diving Leader who wishes to teach the NAUI First Aid – Powered by DAN courses. Non-NAUI members may also attend the workshop as a DAN course.

First Aid Instructor & Requal:

These workshops are to accomplish demonstration quality First Aid and CPR skills, provide valuable information concerning First Aid standards, and give attendees additional First Aid training and instructions on how to implement and conduct courses.

The FAIW is a 3-day workshop:

  • Day 1 is focused on demonstration quality skills
  • Day 2 is devoted to the methodology to teach and administer these courses
  • Day 3 will be final teaching evaluations.

First Aid Instructor Trainer:

Candidates will work with the Examiner(s) to evaluate the First Aid Instructor candidates as they learn the skills required to teach the First Aid Programs.

Dates and Workshop Times:

  • 3-day workshop (November 8th to 10)
  • 9:00 am - 5:00 pm daily
  • Orange County Convention Center

ALL courses and workshops are performance based, credentials must be earned.
