It has been a year since the fateful showdown between the legendary detective Sherlock Nolmes and his archenemy, James Moliarty, at Norchard Falls. Though Sherlock survived, Moliarty’s body was never recovered, and he is presumed long dead. In the aftermath, Sherlock seized the opportunity to dismantle the remnants of Moliarty’s criminal empire. He has methodically gathered Moliarty’s remaining henchmen in the quiet town of Lydney, preparing to capture them in one decisive strike. But just as his plan nears completion, it is derailed by the shocking murder of Scotland Yard’s chief inspector—a plot so intricate, so diabolical, that only one mind could have conceived it. Has Moliarty somehow returned to torment Sherlock from beyond the grave? Or has a new mastermind stepped into the shoes of the infamous “Napoleon of Crime”?
Blackbeard and his crew sail back into Lydney under the cover of night. The town is immediately on edge, but the real terror begins when the wealthy Lord Harrington, a prominent landowner with deep ties to the town’s past, is found murdered in his manor. His throat is slit with a cutlass, a calling card of pirate executions, and a blackened coin is left in his hand—a symbol known to be associated with Blackbeard’s crew.
Suspicion naturally falls on Blackbeard, but the question remains: is Blackbeard truly the killer, or is someone in Lydney using the pirate’s return and his dark reputation as a cover for revenge.to mask their own deadly plot?
When the last evening train to Lydney arrives, it carries not just passengers but a chilling mystery waiting to unfold. Local ne’er do well Harold Finchley is discovered dead in his compartment, a mysterious one way ticket clutched in his hand. Miss Maple, the town’s beloved amateur detective, senses something amiss. As she unravels the secrets of the train’s eclectic travelers, she encounters hidden grudges and deep-seated rivalries. With each clue, Miss Maple inches closer to a dangerous truth, racing against time to catch a cunning killer before the shadows of the night consume them all.
Detective Arthur Holt arrives in the small, secretive town of Lydney to investigate a brutal murder. The farmer’s death, marked by ritualistic symbols, has sparked hushed talk of witchcraft and dark forces. Yet, the villagers are unwilling to help Holt, denying they knew the man or his connection to a series of eerily similar past crimes. Holt soon senses that this is no ordinary murder; it’s part of something much older and much deadlier. The more questions he asks, the deeper the silence grows—and the more certain he becomes that the village is hiding something terrifying.
