About This Adventure

Experience the art of gin-making at Kintyre Gin School, where you'll blend your own unique gin tailored to your taste. Learn about gin's history and distillation, enjoy a guided tasting of botanicals, and take home two bottles of your creation, complete with a personalized label and a distillery tour.

Spend a fun few hours at Kintyre Gin School and become the master of blending your own very own gin, made exactly to your own tastes. Throughout the day you will also learn all about the origins and history of gin and how it is distilled and produced.

The course begins with a taste of gin in its purest juniper form and from there we will teach you about a variety of botanicals, what they contribute to a spirit and their flavour profiles. You will then be guided through the blending process and encouraged to create a gin flavoured to your own preference.

After blending your own creation, you will name, bottle, label, and seal your spirit ready to take home with you. With your remaining gin, we will help you create a perfect serve by giving you the best tips and recommendations for garnishes to suit your creation, which you can enjoy before you go.

The course price includes two 20cl bottles of your unique blend, a Beinn an Tuirc branded glass and pen and a certificate on completion of the course. We’ll also give you a tour of the distillery to visit our copper-pot still and see the process first-hand of how we make our award-winning spirits. We will also keep a record of your botanicals so that you can order your own blend again.

If there isn’t any availability that suits please contact us via admin@kintyregin.com and we’ll do our best to accommodate your booking.

We can also advise on public transport options to and from the distillery.
