You'll be transported to the Outer Shire to relive & recreate some of the most iconic scenes from Lord of the Rings! Hide away from the Black Riders & run fast to buckleberry ferry as we show you where movie magic was made.
You'll also visit the Weta Cave & take part in the 90 minute Weta cave experience. Myyyyy preeecciiiouuss!!
Itenerary Items
- You will be collected from your central hotel, at the port or at the iSite
- Check out the Embassy Theatre where the world premiere of Return of the King took place in 2003
- Head up to the best vantage point in the city, Mount Victoria Lookout
- We’ll check out Hobbits Hideaway where the first day of filming took place & we’ll recreate some iconic moments from the trilogy
- You’ll take part in the 90 minute behind the scenes Weta Workshop Experience!
- Cruise around Oriental Bay & soak up our beautiful city! Please note that the order of the itinerary may change
