Suggested Itinerary

Day 1 (Tuesday): Welcome to Tokyo! – Meet & Greet at the hotel. Free evening.

Day 2* (Wednesday): Visit the Japan Branch Office – At one of the largest Branches of Jehovah’s witnesses you will see how Ebina Bethel supports the global preaching activity and experience the unity of our worldwide brotherhood.

(All travelers and delegates please read applicable information below)

Day 3 **(Thursday): Day trip. Travel to Hakone via express train – Stay overnight in a hot springs town (see details below).

Day 4 (Friday): All-Day Tour of Hakone mountainous region then return to Tokyo hotel.

Day 5 (Saturday): Tour Traditional Tokyo – Old Town.

Day 6 (Sunday): Tour Modern Tokyo – Downtown.

Day  7 ***(Monday): : FREE Day – Enjoy recreation or entertainment such as Tokyo Disney Sea or Ueno Zoological Gardens.

Your local tour-guide will offer additional options for the midweek meeting attender, “the shopper”, “the relaxer, “the adventurer”, or “the explorer”. They can also provide necessary information anytime during the week to assist with pre-arranged plans on this day

Day 8 (Thursday): Check-out and Depart Tokyo.  – “Mata”!

  • Bethel tours will be reserved as permitted according to local circumstances. If you are an approved delegate for the 2025 Kobe Japan Special Convention: Please inform/indicate this to the BCT office at the time you confirm this tour so your local tour guide can be notified and your Bethel tour can be arranged accordingly.  We will follow the Japan Branch direction for all delegates.

**10/30/25 Only: Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and admission to the hot springs is included in the tour price. All other days include breakfast meals only. Please bring a bathing suit.

Note: As indicated on the itinerary, this tour involves various public transit and plenty of walking including climbing a lot of stairs! So please plan on this and make sure to pack a pair of walking shoes.
