Experience on your bike one of the most beautiful scenery along the Amstel River where the name Amsterdam came from. Cycle along with historical architecture from the Golden age and end at one of the oldest farms. The tour is fit for all ages and levels.

Discover Amsterdam like a typical local on your bike. Cycle along the Amstel river with it's beautiful Skinny Bridge, the BlauwBrug, the locks where they regulate the level of the water. Do you know also that Amstel beer is named after this river? The guide will tell you why. Cycle around historical houses that reflect the early town's prosperity.

Start the tour at the Salt Harbour with the stunning view over the IJ River and bike through the city center heading to the Amstel River. Along the way, you will see several famous landmarks and of course the windmill. You end at a traditional farm specialized in making cheese and clogs. This farm is located in the middle of the Dutch polder. This farm dates back to the 15th century. After this, you return to the city center.

This tour makes it hard to believe that the farm and windmills are just a short distance from Amsterdam!
