The first step in our curriculum, designed for students ages 10 years & older. Students will learn foundational horsemanship skills, how to handle a horse on the ground, basic care & grooming! This private lesson is a prerequisite for group lessons.
Prepare
- Closed-toe shoes are required (boots are best if you have a pair)
- Wearing long pants or jeans are recommended
- Wear sun protection and bring water
What is Included
A hands-on riding lesson, where the student will spend time learning how to communicate with their horse, how to prepare to ride, and extremely important basic horse handling skills. Each lesson will progress as the student progresses.
