Gun Maintenance How do you clean and take care of your gun? You DON'T!? Well then, it's a good thing we're doing this. We'll show you the signs that your gun may be dirty, what to look for while cleaning, and when and how to clean your magazines.
Training at Home This month we will be discussing how to practice safely at home with topics including dry-fire drills, practicing reloading, drawing from a holster and transitions.
Range Etiquette This week we will be discussing how to properly dress, how to be safe, and the does and don't of being at the range.
Please note: This will be a general demonstration class only. No firearms will be permitted in the classroom.
Gun Platforms We will be discussing the different types of handgun platforms including the pros and cons of each type so you can make the best choice for you.
Purchasing a Gun Thinking about purchasing a new gun but not sure which one to buy? Well we would like to give you some tips on what to look for when purchasing. We will discuss things like fit, purpose, what questions to ask and shopping around.
Situational Awareness While Carrying Open and Concealed This week we will be discussing being aware of your surroundings and what to look for and keep in mind while you are out of the house.
Home Safety In this day and age, almost nowhere is safe. Learn how to better protect your home and how to make it harder for you and your loved ones to become a victim of burglary/robbery.
Precision Practice vs Self-Defense Practice This week we will be talking about the difference between the two and how to effectively do both as well as how both types feed into each other.
Best Caliber for Self-Defense : This month we will be talking about what caliber is the best for self-defense as well as the different types of ammunition.
Use of Deadly Force : This month we will be talking about the use of deadly force and the difference between reasonable fear and bare fear.

Guest Speaker : This month we will have a guest speaker, Ariel Moses, who will be talking about his women's defense class and give a brief demonstration.
Flash Sight Picture : This month we will go over understanding the concept of acquiring a quick sight picture for self-defense style shooting.
Non Lethal Self Defense : In this class we will cover what the options are for non lethal self defense considering there may be places that you are not able to carry a firearm. We will also discuss how to properly use the different options.
Purse/Bag Carry vs. On Person Carry : This month we will be covering which is the best option for you to carry and what the pros and cons are of each carry mode.
Shooting From Different Positions : This month we will be covering what positions you might find yourself in when you need to defend yourself. We will be practicing different positions and where you can practice them.
Special Guest: A Girl & A Gun Women's Shooting League : This month we will be hearing from a special guest with this shooting league and how their organization works.
Travel & Holiday Safety : This month we will be going over tips to protect yourself while holiday shopping, during holiday parties and while traveling to visit family and friends.
Welcome Back: This month we will have a welcome back class so we can all get reacquainted.
(After class, there will be a $10 range fee if you would like to shoot. You may bring your own guns and ammunition or a 22 Pistol and a box of ammunition will be provided with your fee.)
