Each tour lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes completely walking through the hacienda. Comfortable clothes and shoes, sunscreen, and hats are recommended for the activity. It is suggested to arrive 15-20 minutes before the start of the tour to start the payment and organization process. As payment method we accept cash and credit cards. We work on a first-come, first-served basis, no reservation is necessary. The payment is made at the cash register of Doppio Coffee Bar, our coffee shop from where the group will leave to start the tour.
The tour consists in a low impact walk/hike (20 minutes) to the famous “Charco Azul” Blue Pond and swims in the crystalline blue water. The minerals and Ph are what makes the water look blue, during the walk/hike you are going to have a complete background of the environment, of the topography, geology, flora, and fauna with our professional and certified tour guides. After the forest, we guarantee you are going to have the best lunch you can have in Puerto Rico (veggie options available) the star of the show is the roasted pork! Now you can say you visited the famous Pork Highway and the restaurant “El Rancho Original”. This restaurant has been in shows like Bizarre Foods, Travel Channel and Food Network.
