About this Tour It's a pizza lover's dream come true! Scott's Pizza Tours is joining forces with Taste of New Haven to bring NYC pizza nerds to the recently minted Pizza Capital of America. You'll visit 5 of New Haven's most iconic pizzerias, meeting the operators and touring the kitchens at each location.

Learn what makes New Haven so special from the guy who literally wrote the book on the topic, Taste of New Haven founder Colin Caplan. With Colin's guidance, we'll gain insider access at these historic pizzerias. See their kitchens, taste their pizza, experience the culture.

Your Guides This specialty tour is a collaboration between Scott's Pizza Tours and Taste of New Haven. It will be led by the founders of both companies, Scott Wiener and Colin Caplan. If you're unfamiliar with Colin, he literally wrote the book on New Haven pizza history. It's an epic and thorough retelling of the Elm City's pizza lineage through archival documents and images. Guess who wrote the forward... SCOTT! With these two joining forces, this tour is guaranteed to reach extreme levels of pizza nerdiness!
