Començarem el tour amb una introducció històrica a la ciutat. La zona de Figueres ja va ser poblada pels ibers fa més de 2000 anys, fins que van arribar els romans. Tot i així, gran part de centre de Figueres es va desenvolupar durant l'època medieval.
Sabies que l'inventor de l'submarí va néixer en aquesta ciutat? Començarem parlant de Narcís Monturiol, el monument principal de la Rambla. Seguidament visitarem alguns dels edificis modernistes més emblemàtics i importants de centre, com el nou Teatre i altres cases de famílies importants.
Des d'aquest punt ens dirigirem a la part més viva de la ciutat, el cor de el centre històric. Allà veurem l'antiga Església i, al costat d'ella, l'imponent Museu Dalí, que havia estat un antic teatre i que va tenir un tràgic desenllaç. Descobreix per què el pintor va decidir ubicar el seu museu en aquest precís lloc!
A través d'alguns carrers estrets i places que havien estat antics llocs de mercat, arribarem a la zona de l'Ajuntament. Des d'allà ens dirigirem a les dues cases en què va néixer i va viure Salvador Dalí, i donarem per acabat el recorregut. No t'ho perdis!
