We’re now offering a First Class service and reserved seats in our Dales Dining carriages. After a relaxing pre-meal drink you’ll be served Fish & Chips (including traditional bread and butter if desired) We also offer a vegetarian option of vegetable lasagne (choose the vegetarian tickets on the ticketing website).
The steam-hauled train leaves EMBSAY Station BD23 6QX at 18.30. We depart for Bow Bridge loop whilst you enjoy pre-meal drinks. The train returns to Embsay station, and then continues onto Bolton Abbey with Fish and Chips served during this part of the journey. At Bolton Abbey customers are welcome to stretch their legs and view the steam engine and explore the station. The train will then return to Embsay. The whole experience will last between an hour and an hour and a half.
The train departs from Embsay Station at 13:40. Enjoy first class travel whilst you eat your fish and chips on the journey to Bolton Abbey Station. On arrival you can stretch your legs and explore the station for 20 minutes before returning to Embsay Station.
Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments are available from the on train bar.
Please arrive 20 minutes before departure so we can get you seated. We are unable to accept any dogs on any of our Dales Dining Services (Guide Dogs excepted). We regret that as we do not have space for separate food preparation areas in our onboard kitchen, we are unable to cater for gluten free or vegan diets.
