Have you ever wondered what it feels like to operate a Segway Personal Transporter?
Find parking in the parking lot next to the Chinese garden & walk down the stairs to the two concrete buildings (one is a bathroom the other is our office!) We are directly across from the queen Anne riverboat
Most people have seen it before but until you have test driven a Segway for yourself you have not experienced this revolutionary eco-friendly transportation. The Segway Personal transporter is the world’s first self-balanced ridable transportation and operates without a traditional throttle or brake. It moves as an extension of your body. If you move it moves with you. It feels like you are gliding on air and you will have to fight to hold back the smile. It is incredibly intuitive and a very addictive form of fun.
Our 30 min Segway Clinic is conducted by Segway authorized trainers to help you master the skills and earn your seg legs! It’s the same training we give to commercial organizations such as the RCMP! The Alberta Government made it mandatory to complete the clinic before joining on our Segway Adventures or Tours. You can do the clinic alone or you can keep riding for another 30 or 60 minutes (extra fees apply). When you have completed your Segway Clinic you will be given a River Valley Adventure Co. Segway Operator's License which will allow you to skip the training session when you return for your Advanced Segway Tour. If you would like to book an Advanced Segway Tour, please call us at 780-995-7347.
Upon arrival, you will be required to view a quick safety video.
Upon completion, you will cover skills such as:
