About This Adventure

Embark on a breathtaking 2-day adventure in Lagos de Montebello National Park. Experience the stunning Chiflón Waterfalls, explore vibrant turquoise lakes by boat, and savor local cuisine at Refugio Lodge. Enjoy scenic trails, organic coffee, and a mesmerizing sunset, making this journey truly unforgettable.

Enjoy a unique experience in the Lagos de Montebello National Park, discover the trails of Refugio Lodge a unique reserve at the foot of the mountain, visit Chiflón Waterfalls and enjoy local cuisine and a rich organic mountain coffee.

DAY 1:

Departure towards the Lagos de Montebello National Park, where our first stop will be at the Chiflon Waterfalls,where through a 1.5 km route we can admire a series of impressive waterfalls and reach the highest part of the mountain to enjoy the breeze of the Velo de Novia waterfall and its impressive drop of more than 120 meters.

Our next stop will be Montebello Lakes national park, where we will take a tour in a wooden boat, to enjoy its scenic beauty and admire its turquoise blue color. We will visit 4 to 6 lakes where you can appreciate its crystal clear waters that range from pale blue through violet, emerald and turquoise. .

At the end, we will move to the Refugio Lodge where we will have a gastronomic experience enjoying local food and distillates from the region, later a walk along the trails of the coffee plantation and then ending with the sunset at the viewpoint.

  • Extra activities: Campfire.
  • Lodging night in Camping.

DAY 2:

With coffee in hand we will have time to visit the Viewpoint, observe the lagoons in their maximum splendor and then return to Casa Grande for a delicious local breakfast. We will have free time or we will visit the Cenote "El perol", to later finish with the transfer to our place of origin.
